*✦Hadith: it is not lawful for a guest to stay with his host for such a long period so as to put him in a critical position*
------

✦:Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alahih Wasallam Said Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day,should serve his guest generously. The guest's reward is To provide him with a superior type of food for a night and a day and a guest is to be entertained with food for three days, and whatever is offered beyond that, is regarded as something given in charity. And it is not lawful for a guest to stay with his host for such a long period so as to put him in a critical position
Sahih Bukhari:6135

JazakAllah for sharing this hadith on the etiquette of hospitality. The Prophet's teaching that a guest should not overstay and put the host in a difficult position shows how Islam balances generosity with consideration for others. It reminds me of the Quranic spirit of ihsan — doing good with excellence — that runs through Surah Yaseen, the heart of the Quran, which I reflect on with its translation to keep such manners alive in daily life. These small teachings of the Sunnah are what make Muslim character beautiful. May Allah reward you for spreading them.
