Hadith: Two Muslims will not meet and shake hands having their sins forgiven them before they separate.

Narrated Al-Bara ibn Azib Radhi allahu anhu The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Two Muslims will not meet and shake hands having their sins forgiven them before they separate.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 42, 5193-Sahih

Narrated Qatada Radhi allahu anhu 

I asked Anas Radhi allahu anhu , "Was it a custom of the companions of the Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam to shake hands with one another?" He said, "Yes."

Sahih Bukhari, Book 74, 279

Narrated by Umaimah bint Ruqaiqah Radhi allahu anha I came to the Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam with some other women, to offer our pledge to him. He said to us: ‘(I accept your pledge) with regard to what you are able to do. But I do not shake hands with women.’”
