✦:Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alahih Wasallam said The best Supplication which I and Prophets before me have said on the night of Arafah is 

✦ لا اِلهَ اِلَّا اللّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 

✦:La ilaha illal-lah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu-l-mulk wa lahu-l-hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shai'in qadir

✦:None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. He is the Only One and has no partners . For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him

Jabir bin Abdullah (Allah be pleased with him) reported:In the year of Hudaibiya (6 H ), we, along with Allah's Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam sacrificed a camel for seven persons and a cow for seven persons.

✦ Narrated Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu : Some poor people came to the Prophet Peace be upon him and said, The wealthy people will get higher grades and will have permanent enjoyment and they pray like us and fast as we do. They have more money by which they perform the hajj, and 'Umra; fight and struggle in Allah's Cause and give in charity. The Prophet Peace be upon him said, Shall I not tell you a thing upon which if you acted you would catch up with those who have surpassed you? Nobody would overtake you and you would be better than the people amongst whom you live except those who would do the same. Say Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar thirty three times each after every (compulsory) prayer

✦ The Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said to a man: I have been instructed to take the Day of Sacrifice as an Eid which Allah, the Might and Sublime, has ordained for this Ummah. The man said: What do you think if I cannot find anything but a female sheep that has been loaned to me so that I may benefit from it - should I sacrifice it? He Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: No. Rather cut something from your hair and your nails, trim your mustache and shave your pubic hairs, and you will have a complete reward with Allah, the Might and Sublime, as if you had offered the sacrifice. 

Sunan Nasaii, Book 43, 4370-Sahih

Explanation : if a person is not capabale to sacrifice than he should not cut his hair or nails from the first of Dhul Hijja month, and afterthe eid prayer he should cut his hairs and trim mustache , if he do so he will get reward as he had offered the sacrifice.

✦ The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam said: There is no day on which Allah set free more slaves from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. He draws closer and closer, then He boasts about them before the angels and says: What do these people want?
