Hadith : Whoever is able to die in Al-Madinah, then let him die there  for I will intercede for those who die there

✦ Narrated Ibn Umar Radi allahu anhu that the Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Whoever is able to die in Al-Madinah, then let him die there, for I will intercede for those who die there.

Jamia Tirmidhi , Book 46, 3917-Hasan

✦ Narrated Abu Hurairah Radi allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Any one is patient with the difficulties and hardships of Al-Madinah, I am an intercessor, or a witness for him on the Day of Judgement.

✦ It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said Whoever among you can die in Al-Madinah, let him do so, for I will bear witness in favor of those who die there.

✦ Narrated Zaid bin Aslam from his father umar Radhi Allahu Anhu said, O ALLAH! Grant me martyrdom in Your cause, and let my death be in the city of Your Apostle Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ."

✦ Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said Fasting and the Quran will intercede for the slave on the Day of Judgement. Fasting will say, O My Lord I prevented him from food and desires, so accept my intercession for him.’ And the Qur’an will say, I prevented him from sleep during the night, so accept my intercession for him. thus they will intercede.

Narrated by Jabir Radi Allahu Anhu Rasool-Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam said The Quran is an intercessor whose intercession will be accepted, Whoever puts it in front of him, it will lead him to Paradise, and whoever puts it behind his back, it will drive him to Hell.

Hadith : The intercession of a martyr will be accepted for seventy members of his family.

✦ It was narrated that Safwan bin Umayyah Radi Allahu Anhu said:

"The plague, abdominal illness, drowning and dying in childbirth are martyrdom." (One of the narrators) said: Abu 'Uthman Radi Allahu Anhu narrated this to us several times, and on one occasion he attributed it to the Prophet.

✦ The Prophet peace_be_upon_him said: The intercession of a martyr will be accepted for seventy members of his family.
