* Embryology (formation of child) in Quran

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

*Embryology (formation of child) in Quran*

Al Quran : O mankind! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then verily We have created you (i.e. Adam) from dust, then from a Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge i.e. The offspring of Adam), then from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood) then from a little lump of flesh - some formed and some unformed (as in the case of miscarriage) - that We may make (it) clear to you (i.e. To show you Our Power and Ability to do what We will). And We cause whom We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out as infants, then (give you growth) that you may reach your age of full strength. And among you there is he who dies (young), and among you there is he who is brought back to the miserable old age, so that he knows nothing after having known.
Al Quran Surah AL Hajj (22), verse 5

Hadith: Whichever of them comes first, the child will resemble (that father or mother)

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

Hadith:  Whichever of them comes first, the child will resemble (that father or mother)

Narrated by Anas may ALLAH be pleased with him The Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him said:
The man’s water is thick and white, and the women’s water is thin and yellow. Whichever of them comes first, the child will resemble (that father or mother).
Sunan Nasaii, Vol 1, 200 (Sahih)

It is reported on the authority of 'A'isha that Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said when the genes contributed by woman prevail upon those of man, the child resembles the maternal family, and when the genes of man prevail upon those of woman the child resembles the paternal family.

Sahih Muslim, Book #003, Hadith #0613

Al Quran : How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life

Al Quran : How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned. It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.
Al Quran , Surah Al-Baqarah (2), 28-29

Al Quran : (There is) indeed Ayat (proofs, evidence, signs, etc.) for people of understanding

Bismillahirrahmannirrahim
Al Quran : Verily in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed Ayat (proofs, evidence, signs, etc.) for people of understanding.
Al Quran , Surah AL-Baqara (2), Verse 164
