*كَانَ أَصْحَابُ النَبِي  ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم ‌إِذَا تَلَاقَوْا تَصَافَحُوا ، وَإِذَا قَدِمُوا مِنْ سَفَر تَعَانَقُوْا*

 Anas Radi Allahu Anhu says that the Companions of the Messenger of Allah Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam would shake hands when they met, and when they came from a journey, they would embrace each other
