Hadith : Virtue of ablution before sleeping 

★ Narrated by Muadh ibn Jabal that the Prophet peace be upon him said: If a Muslim sleeps while remembering Allah, in the state of purification, is alarmed while asleep at night, and asks Allah for good in this world and in the Hereafter. He surely gives it to him. 

Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 42, #5024 –Sahih

✦ It was narrated from Ibn Abbas from the Prophet Peace be upon him Concerning a man who has had intercourse with his wife while she was menstruating: "Let him give a Dinar or half a Dinar in charity
Sunan Nasaii, Vol 1, 290 (Sahih)


✦ It was narrated that Anas Radi-Allahu-Anhu said: "When one of their womenfolk menstruated, the Jewswould not eat or drink with them, nor mix with them in their houses. They asked the Prophet of Allah Peace be upon him about that, and Allah Mighty and Sublime revealed "They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses), therefore keep away from women during menses and go not unto them till they are purified. And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah has ordained for you Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves 
Al Quran, 2 : 222 "


So the Messenger Allah commanded them to eat and drink with them menstruatingwomen) and to mix with them in their houses, and to do everything with them except intercourse. 
Sunan Nasaii, Vol 1, 289 (Sahih)


✦ It was narrated that from the Aisha may Allah be pleased with her that The Messenger Peace be upon him said Give me the mat from the Masjid She said: I am menstruating. The Messenger of Allah said: "Your menstruation is not in your hand.

✦ It was narrated that from the Aisha may Allah be pleased with her that The head of the Messenger of Allah would rest in the lap of one of us when she was menstruating, and he would recite Quran.

✦ It was narrated that from the Aisha may Allah be pleased with her that I used to comb the Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him when I was menstruating.

✦ Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu reported The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) said: If anyone observes prayer in which he does not recite Surah fatiha (uumul quran) , It is deficient [he said this three times] and not complete. It was said to Abu Huraira: At times we are behind the Imam. He said: Recite it inwardly, for he had heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) declare that 


✦ Allah the Exalted had said: I have divided the prayer into two halves between Me and My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks. When the servant says:Al-hamdu lillahi Rabb il-'alamin 
Allah the Most High says: My servant has praised Me. 


✦ And when he (the servant) says: Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem 
Allah the Most High says: My servant has lauded Me. 


✦ And when he (the servant) says: Maliki yawmi-d-Din 
He remarks: My servant has glorified Me. 
and sometimes He would say: My servant entrusted (his affairs) to Me. 


✦ And when he (the worshipper) says: iyya-ka na'budu wa iyya-ka nasta'in
He (Allah) says: This is between Me and My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks for. 


✦ Then, when he (the worshipper) says: "Ihdinassirat Al-mustaqim , Sirat Al-ladhina an'amta 'alai-him , Ghair il-Maghdubi 'alai-him wa la-d-dallin"
Guide us to the straight path, the path of those to whom Thou hast been Gracious not of those who have incurred Thy displeasure, nor of those who have gone astray, He (Allah) says: This is for My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks for. 
Sahih Muslim, Book 4, 775

It was narrated that Abdullah bin Zubair Radi-Allahu-Anhu said: The Messenger of Allah Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam broke his fast with Sa’d bin Mu’adh Radi-Allahu-Anhu and said:


أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ
 ‘Aftara ‘indakumus-saimun, wa akala ta’amakumul-abrar, wa sallat ‘alaikumul- mala’ikah 

(May fasting people break their fast with you, may the righteous eat your food, and may the angels send blessing upon you).”
Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol 1 , # 1747-Sahih

Narrated Abu Qatada Al-Aslami may ALLAH be pleased with him Allah's Apostle Peace be upon him said, If anyone of you enters a mosque, he should pray two Rakat before sitting.
Sahih Bukhari,Vol 1, Book 8, No. 435

It was Narrated from tamim dari may ALLAH be pleased with him that the Prophet Peace be upon him said The first thing for which A person will be brought to a account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer (Salah) . If it is complete then the voluntary ( Nawafil) prayer will also be recorded for him (As an increase) If it is not complete then Allah will say to his Angels Look and see wheather you find any voluntary (Nawafil) prayer for my slave and take them to make up what is lacking from his obligatory ( farz) prayers then All his deeds will be recokened in like manner
Sunan Ibn Majah, Volume 1, #1426 -Sahih

✦ Narrated Abu Huraira Radhi allahu anhu 
I heard Allah's Messenger Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam saying, "If there was a river at the door of anyone of you and he took a bath in it five times a day would you notice any dirt on him?" They said, "Not a trace of dirt would be left." The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam added, "That is the example of the five prayers with which Allah blots out (annuls) evil deeds."

If any act thus, the loss is their own.
and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you,before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good".
But to no soul will Allah grant respite when the time appointed (for it) has come; and Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do.
Surah Al Munafiqoon (63),Verse 9-11

✦ AL Quran :Then when there comes As-Sakhkhah (the second blowing of the Trumpet on the Day of Resurrection)
That Day a man will flee from his brother, And from his mother and from his father,And from his wife and from his children. Everyman that Day will have enough to make him careless of others.

Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma: The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam went out by one road on the day of the Eid (‘Id) and returned by another.
Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 3, 1152- Sahih

Al Quran : Allah will destroy Riba (usury) and will give increase for Sadaqat (deeds of charity, alms, etc.) And Allah likes not the disbelievers, sinners.
Truly those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat they will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
O you who believe! Be afraid of Allah and give up what remains (due to you) from Riba (usury) (from now onward), if you are (really) believers. 
And if you do not do it, then take a notice of war from Allah and His Messenger but if you repent, you shall have your capital sums. Deal not unjustly (by asking more than your capital sums), and you shall not be dealt with unjustly (by receiving less than your capital sums).
Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 276-279


Hadith: Jabir Radi AllahuAnhu said that the Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam cursed the accepter of interest and its payer, and one who records it, and the witnesses, and he said: They are all equal.

✦ Al Quran : 1. Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 
2. Who has gathered wealth and counted it. 
3. He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 
4. Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 
5. And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 
6. The fire of Allah kindled,
7. Which leaps up over the hearts,
8. Verily, it shall be closed upon them,
9. In pillars stretched forth (i.e. they will be punished in the Fire with pillars).
Al-Quran , Surah Al-Humaza (104), Verse 1-9


✦ Hadith: Hudhaifa Radhi allahu anhu reported that I heard Allah's Messenger Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam saying: The tale-bearer (a person who spreads gossip, secrets that may cause trouble or harm) shall not enter Paradise.

Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 189 (Kitab Al-Imaan)

✦ Narrated Abu Huraira Radhi Allahu Anhu : I heard ALLAH's Apostle saying. "All the sins of my followers will be forgiven except those of the Mujahirin (those who commit a sin openly or disclose their sins to the people). An example of such disclosure is that a person commits a sin at night and though ALLAH screens it from the public, then he comes in the morning, and says, 'O so-and-so, I did such-and-such (evil) deed yesterday,' though he spent his night screened by his Lord (none knowing about his sin) and in the morning he removes ALLAH's screen from himself."

✦ Abu Huraira Radhi allahu anhu reported Allah's Apostle Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam as saying: A man expressed his intention to give charity, so he came out with charity and placed it in the hand of an adulteress. In the morning, the people were talking and saying: charity was given to an adulteress last night. He (the giver of Sadaqa) said: O Allah! All the praises are for you (I had given charity ) to a adulteress
✦ He then again expressed his intention to give charity; so he went out with the charity and placed it in the hand of a rich person. In the morning the people were talking and saying: Charity was given to a rich person. He (the giver of charity) said: O Allah! All the praises are for you (I had given charity ) to a rich person

✦ He then expressed his intention to give charity, so he went out with charity and placed it in the hand of a thief. In the morning, the people were talking and saying: Charity was given to a thief.
✦ So (one of the persons) said: O Allah! All the praises are for (what a misfortune it is that charity has been given to) the adulteress, to a rich person. to a thief! There came (the angel to him) and he was told: Your charity has been accepted. As for the adulteress (the charity might become the means) whereby she might restrain herself from fornication. The rich man might perhaps learn a lesson and spend from what Allah has given him, and the thief might thereby refrain from committing theft.

✦ The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "The (reward of) deeds depend on intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he intends.

Narrated Urwa Radi Allahu Anhu That he was informed by Aisha Radi Allahu Anha, Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam went out in the middle of the night and prayed in the mosque and some men prayed behind him.

✦ In the morning, the people spoke about it and then a large number of them gathered and prayed behind him (on the second night). In the next morning the people again talked about it and
✦ On the fourth night the Mosque was overwhelmed with people and could not accommodate them, but the Prophet Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam came out (only) for the morning prayer. When the morning prayer was finished he recited Tashah-hud and (addressing the people) said, "Amma ba'du, your presence was not hidden from me but I was afraid lest the night prayer (Qiyam) should be enjoined on you and you might not be able to carry it on." So, Allah's Apostle passed away and the situation remained like that (i.e. people prayed individually). "
✦ on the third night the mosque was full with a large number of people. Allah's Messenger Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam came out and the people prayed behind him.

Verily, the Hour (Day of Judgement) is surely coming, there is no doubt about it, yet most men believe not.

✦ Al Quran : And not equal are the blind and those who see; nor are (equal) those who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAH - Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous good deeds, and those who do evil. Little do you remember!

Verily, the Hour (Day of Judgement) is surely coming, there is no doubt about it, yet most men believe not.
Surah Ghafir (40) , Verse 58-59

✦ Hadith: Narrated Anas: Radhi Allahu I heard The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam Said , "From among the portents of the Hour are the following: Religious knowledge will be taken away; General ignorance (in religious matters) will increase; illegal Sexual intercourse will prevail: Drinking of alcoholic drinks will prevail. Men will decrease in No., and women will increase in No., so much so that fifty women will be looked after by one man."
Sahih Bukhari, Vol 7, Book 62, No. 158

✦ Hadith: Abu Huraira Radhi allahu anhu reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: (When) the time would draw close to the Last Hour, knowledge would be snatched away, turmoil would be rampant, miserliness would be put (in the hearts of the people) and there would be much bloodshed. They said: What is al-harj? Thereupon he Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said: It is bloodshed.

Whoever gives food to a fasting person with which to break his fast, will have a reward equal to his,

Narrated by Zaid bin Khalid may ALLAH be pleased with him said: The prophet peace be upon him said Whoever gives food to a fasting person
with which to break his fast, will have a reward equal to his, without it detracting in the slightest from the reward of the fasting person.

Hadith: Between my house and my pulpit there is a garden from amongst the gardens of Paradise,

اللهم إني أسألك حبك وحب من يحبك ، والعمل الذي يبلغني حبك


O Allah! I ask of You Your love, the love of whoever loves You and the love of those deeds which would draw me to attaining Your love.

Hadith : Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to performing hajj with Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam

Narrated Abu Huraira Radhi allahu anhu
The Prophet (Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ) said, "I met Moses on the night of my Ascension to heaven." The Prophet (Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ) then described him saying, as I think, "He was a tall person with lank hair as if he belonged to the people of the tribe of Shanu's.' The Prophet (Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ) further said, "I met Jesus." The Prophet (Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ) described him saying, "He was one of moderate height and was red-faced as if he had just come out of a bathroom. I saw Abraham whom I resembled more than any of his children did." The Prophet (Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ) further said, "(That night) I was given two cups; one full of milk and the other full of wine. I was asked to take either of them which I liked, and I took the milk and drank it. On that it was said to me, 'You have taken the right path (religion). If you had taken the wine, your (Muslim) nation would have gone astray."

Al Quran : O mankind , Fear your Lord , Verily, the earthquake of the Hour (of Judgement) is a terrible thing. The Day you shall see it, every nursing mother will forget her nursling, and every pregnant one will drop her load, and you shall see mankind as in a drunken state, yet they will not be drunken, but severe will be the Torment of Allah.
Al Quran , Surah Al-Hajj (22) Verse 1-2


Al Quran : Al-Qariah (the striking Hour), What is the striking (Hour)?
And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths(insects) scattered about. And the mountains will be like carded wool , Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy,He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, He will have his home in Hawiyah And what will make you know what it is? (It is) a fiercely blazing Fire! 
Surah Al Qaria (101)

Narrated Sahl bin sad Radi Allahu Anhu :The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it."

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 31, Number 120

Hadith:Offer some of your prayers (Nawafil) at home, and do not take your houses as graves.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As Radi AllahuAnhu: ALLAH's Apostle SallallahuAlaihi wasallam said, "O 'Abdullah! Have I not been formed that you fast all the day and stand in prayer all night?" I said, "Yes, O ALLAH's Apostle!" He said, "Do not do that! Observe the fast sometimes and also leave them (the fast) at other times; stand up for the prayer at night and also sleep at night. Your body has a right over you, your eyes have a right over you and your wife has a right over you."
{Sahih Bukhari, Vol 7, Book 62, No. 127}

Narrated Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu : The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) Health and free time ( for doing good.)

Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times, Paradise will say:
O Allah, admit him to Paradise. And whoever seeks protection from Hell-fire three times, Hell-fire will say: O Allah, protect him from the Hell-Fire

Al Quran: If you join others in worship with ALLAH, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers.
Surah Az-Zumar (39) ,Verse 65

Hadith: Abu Al-Malih narrated from 'Awf bin Malik Al-Ashja'i who said: "The Messenger of Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said Someone came to me from myLord to give me choice between the half of my Ummah being admitted into Paradise or intercession. So I chose the intercession,and it is for whoever dies and he did not associate anything with Allah."'
Jamia Tirmidhi , Book 11, 2441-Hasan

Hadith Qudsi: Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu reported The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam as stating that Allah the Most High and Exalted said: I am the One, One Who does not stand in need of a partner. If anyone does anything in which he associates anyone else with Me,I shall abandon him with one whom he associates with Allah.

Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam , if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination.

Surah An-Nisa (4) Verse 59

✦ Al Quran : Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.
Those who remember Allah (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying):
✦ Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted are You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.
✦ Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him; and never will the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers.
✦ Our Lord ! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: Believe in your Lord, and we have believed.
✦ Our Lord ! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar (the pious believers).
✦ Our Lord ! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise.
Surah Aal-e-Imran (3) verse 190-194


✦ Al Quran : Verily, those who unjustly eat up the property of orphans, they eat up only fire into their bellies,

Surah An-Nisa(4) , Verse 10

✦ Al Quran : As for man, when his Lord tries him by giving him honour and bounties, then he says (in exultation): "My Lord has honoured me. But when He tries him by straitening his means of life, he says: "My Lord has humiliated me!" Nay! But you treat not the orphans with kindness and generosity And urge not one another on the feeding of Al-Miskin (the poor)! And you devour the inheritance all with greed, And you love wealth with much love.
Al Quran, Surah Fajr,Chapter 89,Verse 15-20

✦ Hadith: Narrated Sahl bin Sa'd Radhi Allahu Anhu : The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this," putting his index and middle fingers together. (same like both finger)
