✦ Hadith : It is not an act of righteousness to fast while traveling

✦ It was narrated from Kab bin Asim that the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam said It is not an act of righteousness to fast while traveling.
Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 1 , 1664-Sahih

✦ Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu used to say: The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam fasted and he broke his fast. He who likes may fast and he who likes may break.
Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 13, 2398-Sahih

✦ Narrated Anas Radi Allahu Anhu We travelled along with the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam during Ramadan. Some of us were fasting and other broke their fast. Those who fasted did not find fault with those who broke, and those who broke their fast did not find fault with those who fasted.
Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 13, 2399-Sahih
