✦ Hadith : Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to performing hajj with Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam

✦ Narrated Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu : When the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam returned after performing his Hajj, he Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam asked Um Sinan Al-Ansari, "What did forbid you to perform Hajj?" She replied, "Father of so-and-so (i.e. her husband) had two camels and he performed Hajj on one of them, and the second is used for the irrigation of our land." The Prophet said (to her), "Perform umra in the month of Ramadan, as it is equivalent to Hajj with me (in reward)."

✦ Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu : A person asked to the Apostele of Allah peace be upon him What is that action which is equivalent to performing hajj with you? The Apostle of Allah peace be upon him said: Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to performing hajj along with me.
