The Virtue of Madina

✦ Narrated Abu Huraira Radiallahu anhu The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "There are angels guarding the entrances (or roads) of Medina, neither plague nor Ad-Dajjal will be able to enter it."

Sahih Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 30, No. 104:

✦ Narrated Anas Radi allahu anhu : The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "O ALLAH! Bestow on Medina twice the blessings You bestowed on Mecca.

Sahih Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 30, No. 109:

✦Narrated Aisha Radi Allahu Anha Allah's Apostle Peace be upon him said, "O Allah! Make us love Medina as we love Mecca or even more than that

✦ It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said Whoever among you can die in Al-Madinah, let him do so, for I will bear witness in favor of those who die there.

Sunan Ibn majah, Book 25, 3112-Hasan

✦ Narrated Zaid bin Aslam from his father umar Radhi Allahu Anhu said, O ALLAH! Grant me martyrdom in Your cause, and let my death be in the city of Your Apostle Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ."
