Salaat Al-tauba (The Prayer of Repentance)
----------------
✦ Narrated Ali Radi Allahu Ahnhu that Abu bakr siddiq Radi Allahu Anhu said that The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said When a servant (of Allah) commits a sin, and he performs ablution well, and then stands and prays two rak'ahs, and asks pardon of Allah, Allah pardons him. He then recited this verse:
And those who, when they have committed Fahishah (illegal sexual intercourse) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins; - and none can forgive sins but Allah - and do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know.
(Al-Qur'an 3:135).
