You will never recite a letter from them for which you will not be given (a reward).( it means whatever you will recite from them you will be given )

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

You will never recite a letter from them for which you

will not be given (a reward).( it means whatever you will

recite from them you will be given )

Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people. "

✦ Ibn Abbas Radi allahu anhu reported that

while
Gabriel

was sitting with the Apostle Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam

he heard a creaking sound above him. He lifted his

head

and said: This As a gate opened in heaven today which

had never been opened before. Then when an angel

descended through it, he said: This is an angel who

came down to the earth who had-never come down

before. He greeted and said: Rejoice in two lights given

to you which have not been given to any prophet before

you: Fatihat al-Kitab (Surah fatiha) and the concluding

verses of Suarah al-Baqara. You will never recite a letter

from them for which you will not be given (a reward).( it

means whatever you will recite from them you will be

given )

Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith 1760

✦ Narrated Abu Mas ud Radi Allahu Anhu : The Prophet

Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "If somebody recited

the last two Verses of Surat Al-Baqara at night,

that will be sufficient for him.

Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 6, Book 61, Hadith 530
