Ibn Umar Radi allahu anhu se rivayat hai ki Hazrat Uthman Radi 

allahu anhu Ghzwa e badr mein shamil na ho sake they kyunki unke 

nikah mein Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu alahi wasallam ki sahabzadi thi 

aur wo bahut beemar thi, Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu alahi wasallam ne 

farmaya ki tumhe bhi utna hi sawab milega jitna badr mein shamil 

hone wale shakhs ko aur utna hi hissa bhi milega.

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Jild 4, 3130

Narrated Ibn Umar radi allahu anhu Uthman radi allahu anhu did

 not join the Badr battle because he was married to one of the 

daughters of Allah's Apostle ﷺ and she was ill. So, the 

Prophet ﷺ said to him. "You will get a reward and a share (from the 

war booty) similar to the reward and the share of one who has 

taken part in the Badr battle."
