✦  An example of the woman of paradise and hell

✦ Narrated by Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu said: A man said: O Messenger of Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam, So and so (a woman) –  prayed in night and fast in the days and do (house) work as well and also give charity – but she hurt her neighbours with her tongue. He  Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam said:  She will be among the people of Hell.
That man again said: O Messenger of Allah  Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam, So and so (another woman) prayed only obligatory prayer and she gives cheese in  charity but she does not hurt her neighbours with her tongue. He Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam said: She will be among the people of Paradise.
